We bought our first Golden a number of years ago. We had just lost our part Golden and had decided perhaps not to get another dog as retirement was just around the bend. However having always wanted a Golden and my birthday quickly approaching, the thought of a Golden puppy quickly altered our thinking.

My birthday gift Ben, was the most lovable, playful, rambunctious, goofy Golden Retriever puppy you could have ever laid your eyes on. My husband and I fell totally in love with him, and decided that in our retirement we would breed Golden Retrievers. Thus began our journey. We have been careful to breed the wonderful temperament and intelligence into our Goldens that was so evident in our Ben. Our goal is to have other families experience the Golden as we have.

Presently we have twenty-two Goldens at various stages of maturity. They rotate in and out of our house, as we do not believe in confining them into a kennel continuously as they are indeed our pets.

Our puppies go home highly socialized, as others and ourselves spend a great deal of time with them, in a home-like environment. Our Goldens are registered with the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) and come with a two year guarantee for hips and eyes. They also have been carefully checked over by our vet and given their first needle, as well as being micro chipped.

On November 16, 2006, my husband and best friend passed away after a rare and lengthy illness. I miss him dearly. I have decided to carry on with the breeding of this wonderful dog and found that they have become a great comfort to me.
